Humanities I - Antiquity

For the 2022-23 academic year, our studies will focus on Antiquity.

Materials

In additon to the books below, students will need 2 100-page college-ruled sewn composition books.

Cottage Press
Providence Prep will order Cottage Press books together for a group discount.

Students should continue using their Book of Centuries, if they have already started one.
Each family will need at least one copy of Poetry Reader VI from Cottage Press.

History
Students will need their own printed copy of each of the following books.
One additional history book will be posted as soon as it is finalized.

Each family should have one history atlas. The same atlas is used in Humanities II.

These three history books are optional, for supplementary reading:

The Story of the Chosen People
The Story of the Greeks
The Story of the Romans

Literature Books:
Students will need their own printed copy of each of the following books. NOTE: Sophocles I and Aeschylus II are also used in Humanities II.
